where do you keep finding the money? it's obviously not from our adventures, unless you're hoarding all the party's cash.
everyone else is poor and you're slapping 100 gold for guards and more on bounties for orcs...i just want to know where your cash-growing tree is.

Yi-Hsiao,
Although Caste is an important part of role-playing, especially when interacting with NPC's, no player has the right or authority to boss another player around. In the end, a character does whatever the player decides, and it is assumed that the lead character order that action EVEN IF the player of the lead character does not agree with the action.
Caste is not presumed to be a player pecking order. Rather, it is a tool for understanding the social level of your character.

i think Will should ask for everyone's character sheets, so he has info on their possessions (gold count), saves, hit points, ac, skills, languages.
i don't know how he's managed thus far without it.

Sandy will probably be a secondary character in these journals. I plan to keep her in the background of the action.
The party should be asking, "Where's Sandy?" As she's hiding in the bushes next to them.

Yi-Hsiao,
Great little adds. You did a great job with Sandy this week! If you get a chance throw her stats/sheet up somewhere. I'd like to get her attributes on the Yahoo Groups DB.

Zulfikar, Great edits to the text, especially the part about Faelon getting more introspective. (Sets up the XP for Wisdom nicely.) I will mention that you are and have been fighting kobolds. You may have been confusing kobolds with "kobalds". The hairless variety of kobolds, "kobalds", are found only in Pergael. ;^)

BTW, this week's heroic action bonus goes to Faelon for paying for Telero's town guard. Zulfikar has also picked up a few extra points by editting this page. But there's plenty of room to augment and add to this page and/or site if you're grubbing for a few extra XP's.

This page DEFINITELY needs some maintainance but Yi-Hsiao whipped up a great piece of background during the hand-off to Burt. It would be nice to see Burt edit this into something coherent.

Interesting - Based on the Lharna year versus Earth year, 1000 years on Lharna would equate 959 and change on earth.
That would mean that 100 LY (Lharna Year) would be October-ish 95 EY (Earth Year) Or, if year 0 LY = 900 EY, then 1007 LY is somewhere in the early 1960s.

I'm tinkering with the start date because I need to leave enough room for the human history I have in my back story, but I also want the game start to be the same date as when we started playing. It would be great if we could get in a week (more or less) of game time in each game session.
That said, I love the math of this.

Rule 1- Do not in any circumstances, underestimate Kobolds. Rule 2 - Do not, in all remaining circumstances, underestimate Kobolds. Any questions?
A couple of points to ponder: (1) Dunston is wanted by the Templars. Dunston also has a working relationship - or at least significant clout - with the town guard. And, casually name-drops the steward. She's in town, so was most of your gear, but not her little friend. (2) Someone painted a target on HawksClaw. A whole lot of someones were targeting Hawksclaw. Coincidence? (2a) Hawksclaw shoots at Mozzarella. Noone can find Mozzarella now, and #2 above is happening. Coincidence? (3) Everyone says "go to the kobolds, they're easy" - EXCEPT the bloke living outside the town walls, who says "Don't mess with them - RUN AWAY!" Two encounters later, it's Everyone 0, Yokel 2. (4) The Steward has a business relationship (at the very least) with Dunston, but doesn't want us to know about it. He's also running a good little thugocracy in the baron's absence (although, we don't know much about how the Baron runs the place either. This may be simple continuation of policy. And, no, he's not incompetent - or he'd be in the midden and some other yutz would be "Steward.") Also, he's part of the "everyone" from #3 above. (5) Dunston wants to attack Goblins. She's looking for something she thinks they have. The Baron is absent because he's "looking for something". Kobolds are active all over the place. We don't know what that something is - and we should find out. (6) Baron's Daughter won't have anything to do with the Prince since we stayed at Ploughmans. Quite possibly a good thing, though she probably knows what her father's looking for.
Also, the party's spent the lion's share of the backup cash. Since the Prince was adamant he had 10 GP in coin, he has no weapon, or vice versa.

Haha, I am guilty as charged. In my defense though, I am only flip-flopping on how to best roleplay my character. I'm not trying to boost the performance in my character in any way. I'm just trying to fit my stats with how I'm going to roleplay him.
I figured to add some more flavor and history, Llaun's surname will be Tersoal. He is a mix of German/Irish but believes he's a pure-blooded Pergo.

He says that he is pure Pergaelese, but he has a hard time explaining why he has green eyes and platinum blond hair. ;^)
BTW, if you're looking for a RPing angle, have you ever seen the movie Becket? Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton starred in the story of Thomas Becket. The Becket story has been told from several angles, but in this movie Burton (the king) is a rogue who grows weary of the Archbishop of Canterbury's meddling. So, when he has the opportunity he appoints O'Toole as the Archbishop. O'Toole is a cleric, but he has been a fellow wanderlust in the king's youth. However, once Becket is appointed Archbishop, the king is rudely shocked to find that Becket is suddenly quite serious about religion and the office of the Archbishop. Great movie, much better than the plays and books if you've read them. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057877/

I'd like to exchange my familiar from a raven to a cat. For RP purposes, I'd like to knock my int (15) and wisdom (12) down to reflect my obliviousness. This would be much more fun to RP then a super powerful wizard...If I die, well he ran out of luck. LOL.
Let me know what you think, Will. It is your final call.
