Brief bio: Originally from Saint Louis, Missouri-- born to an Irish-American Catholic mom and a Muslim Pakistani dad. Lived most of my life in the midwest except for a couple years in California. Went to Indiana University to study music (where I met Dan) but switched to finance after a couple years. Finished school, worked in Chicago for a while, got bored with the cube life so went on active duty in the army (was a reservist). Was an enlisted light infantryman, got my commission and became an intelligence officer. Worked primarily in tactical, staff, and human intelligence. Hated the Army but loved the people in it. Moved to DC because this is the only place where my skillset and clearance is worth something. Still trying to get used to living out here. Its gotten a lot better but it certainly isn't the midwest!
