Brief bio: I was a freelance writer and DJ for about 10 years, eventually writing BattlestorM---a Ral Partha Publication. I feel like I learned a lot about games as a result of that experience. Among other things I learned the difference between what players say they want and what players really want. If I were to write that game again, it would be markedly different and hopefully much better. I'm currently working on a ruleset for DragonRune Miniatures. If you want to pitch him, you assistance is much appreciated. During the day I work on managing my properties, and the properties of my partners. I also make some money on the side selling real estate. (Saturday is usually quite busy.) On the side, I've been working on a fantasy novel set in the world of Lharna for the past 20 years or so. To that end I have many stories which I think are interesting, but I still don't think I have a winner. The trouble is I'm writing something like the Silmarillion. Stories lead to backstories lead to histories lead to backstories lead to cultures. In other words, it's not fun for anyone but me to read. I'm excited about this group because maybe it will spur me to write the Hobbit instead of the Silmarillion.
