The Diegan Islands are about 100 miles off the coast of Athantos in the Ceril Ocean at the edge of Tolaria's continental shelf. Diegan natives have lived here since the Androclysm, Diegans generally kept to themselves but occaisionally traded with Athantos. Ortonian traders searching for a route to trade with the dwarves heard rumors about the islands from Athanto sailors and they sought out the islands for themselves.

The found a tropical island chain with several natural harbors. The Ortonians renamed the islands after their King Diego and claimed them as their own. Although the jungles afford some natives the opportunity to avoid Ortonian culture, many Diegans have adopted a culture that blends Ortonian and native aspects into a Diegan way of life. A tiny minority of Diegans have migrated to some of the larger cities in the West.

Trakdag has the largest Diegan community on the continent.
